RULE MODIFICATION 03-09

Postby Bill Lackey on Wed May 27, 2009 3:24 pm

Section 2 – Practice / Qualifying Procedures

All cars must pass in section before being allowed to practice.
Hot laps will be limited to TWO (2), 10 to 15 lap sessions. A maximum of 10 cars will be on the track at one time.
One (1) round of qualifying.
A driver NOT crossing the scales and being in line with the other competitors will be penalized one (1) lap. Tardiness will NOT be tolerated at any time. In addition, if the driver's qualifying lap puts him in the invert drawn, he will start directly behind the invert.
The better of two (2) consecutive lap times will constitute the official qualifying time for that driver/car combination.
Drivers, or their representative, will draw for order of qualifying

A suggestion on the rule 03-09

Postby crateracer05 on Wed May 27, 2009 10:22 pm

Hey Bill,

I think what you did on the rule change is good but I would suggest you add an amount of time that a late qualifier would be allowed qualify. I think a reasonable amount of time would be ten minutes to make the call to qualify. This way the track conditions are close to the same and there is no advantage. just my 2 cents

I think that would also be a good rule change so that you dont have guys waitin for the track to change. You may get penalized a lap but the track could be totally different. Just my opinion

Thanks,
Matt
