SUPERPRO rules and procedures will be in effect, this will NOT be a “run what ya brung” show. The track will have practice sessions throughout the weekend for our Series, but Sunday is our only scheduled day for racing.

Sunday may be rushed, please remain patient. If the schedule proceeds as planned, you should be on the road @ 7:00
Gates open 10:00 am - (May be 11:00) Pit passes $30.00
Tech will start @ 11:00 am (Tires available) (If gates open at 11:00, Tech will be pushed back to 11:30)
Practice for all classes 1:00 (2 sessions. Tires will be marked before second session)
Qualifying at @ 2:00
Races start at 3:00
When presenting car for tech, have your hood OFF. Air cleaner and air box should be removed and left in your pit. Bring a cover for your carb. Have your safety equipment available; including helmet, firesuits, shoes, gloves, and head / neck restraints. Make sure all safety equipment is within code date. If not present at the first six events, your ignition and carb must be inspected and sealed. If your seal(s) have been removed, your carb and ignition box will have to be re-inspected and re-sealed. ALSO, have your rear deck lid removed or loose.
Two Tire Rule in effect: Tires purchased must be run on race day. In addition, you will be using two “used” tires, previously used in a SUPERPRO sanctioned event. (These tires MUST have previous markings on tire if serial number is missing.) After the first practice session, officials will come around to your pit and mark your event tires. HAVE THE TIRES EITHER ON THE CAR OR LAID OUT ON THE GROUND, OUTSIDE UP. The four tires marked will be your set of tires for the remainder of the day (2nd practice, qualifying, and race.) You will draw for qualifying order at this time.
A drivers and spotters meeting will be held. The location will be announced over the PA. BOTH the drivers meeting and the spotters meeting are MANDATORY ATTENDENCE. Spotters meeting will be held immediately after the drivers meeting. It is advised the spotters attend the drivers meeting also. Failure to attend these meetings could result in penalties. Spotters will be located in the stands in turn 1. The area will be marked off. REMEMBER: THE “TAP OUT” RULE IS IN EFFECT. Man up, be responsible. IF NEITHER DRIVER TAPS OUT, BOTH GO TO THE REAR. (That’s how the rule is written; it’s in the book.)
When called to the scales for qualifying or the racing event, please be prompt. Come to the scales close to qualifying or line up order. The order is posted or a SLMS Official will be able to advise you as to your position. Know who is in front of you (a couple of spots) and who is behind you. By coming up in order, this will help alleviate the congestion in the scale and staging areas. Once you cross the scales, pull around and into the chute in your respective position. Keep a lane open.
The feature will be 75 laps. First 25 laps, yellow flag laps count. Last 50 laps, green flag laps only, count. TOP FIVE stop on front stretch after the race for “Winners Circle” ceremonies. Top five will report to post race tech inspection. There is a possibility a “Wild Card” car will be selected for inspection. You will be notified if you are selected as the “Wild Card” and you will also stop on the front straight along with the top five. After you have been excused from post race ceremonies; do not return to your pit; go directly to the tech area. Only 3 people (including driver) allowed in post race tech area. Please keep bystanders, fans, and unnecessary crew members at least 15 feet from the cars.
The transponder rule WILL BE in effect. Transponders will be used. REMEMBER TO TURN YOUR TRANSPONDER IN IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE RACE, TO SUPERPRO OFFICIALS. If you do not turn your transponder in, and you are not checked off the transponder sheet, you will not be paid.
After Sunday’s race. At some point after the races, SUPERPRO officials will be coming around collecting ignition seals and rev limiter chips. You can remove them yourselves, but please make sure your seal and chip numbers are checked off the master “Chip Distribution” sheet.

This being the final race of the year is somewhat sad, yet it has been a great year for me and the rest of the SUPERPRO staff. I want to thank each and every driver, crew member, wife, mother, father, sons, daughters, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and all of the fans that have made this a special year. Your dedication effort, and sacrifices; have helped make for an enjoyable summer. You all make the series what it is. Thank you for a great year.
