Special thanks to Tom Isch and Bob Koorsen for putting this together....sounds exciting for our series.

FM 100.1 TALKS TO BEGIN LIVE BROADCASTS FROM SPEEDWAY

With the kickoff to the 47th consecutive season of racing set for Saturday, May 16, Baer Field Speedway is proud to announce that, for the first time ever, LIVE events will be broadcast from the historic racing facility.

The Speedway has reached an agreement with “FM 100.1 Talks” (WNUY) for monthly broadcasts of LIVE racing action on select Saturday nights. Hosted by Cliff Tanner and Pete LaFaucia, the Saturday night broadcasts will begin on May 30, when the Super Pro series makes their first of three appearances on the historic half-mile oval. Other broadcasts scheduled at this time will be: June 13 (HOSS Sprints), July 18 (CRA Super Series), and the 12 annual “International Gold Cup 100” on Friday, August 7. Additional dates may be added to the broadcast schedule later in the season.

In addition to the Saturday night live racing broadcasts, FM 100.1 will also debut a one-hour, weekly interview and results show called “Speed Talk LIVE”, which will be broadcast from the Speedway pits during Wednesday night open practice from 7-8 PM.
