SUPERPRO SERIES UPDATE..........

Postby Bill Lackey on Fri Jan 23, 2009 1:47 pm

Welcome to January in the north......hope everyone is surviving the cold and getting ready for some great racing this summer......

We have had a couple of date changes in the schedule. The July 18th. Angola date is being move ahead one week to July 25. The June 27 date at Baer Field is being moved back to June 20. Angola and Baer Field are working together so the do not conflict with big events at each others track. Kudos to Craig Everage and Tom Isch for working together to make both tracks successful. We are hoping to have a final schedule in the next few days.

The banquet is only two weeks away on Feb. 7 at the Redwoods Comedy Club in Angola, IN. As of today only 13 tickets have been sold.....the ticket purchase deadline is Feb. 2 so if you plan on coming please get your form in as soon as you can. A link for the registration form is on the website. If you have purchased tickets, they will be at the door waiting for you. And remember you will be allowed to show off your karoke talents after the banquet.

Early bird registration has also been extended to February 7 at the banquet. A link for the registration form is available at the website.

Because of only running 8 races in 2008, Five Star and ARP has allowed the minimum number of races to be eligible for the body and $500 certificates to be reduced from 6 to 5. This will only effect 2 drivers, Jason Dietsch and Jack Landis, and will add them to the drawing.

A draft of the rules will be available in the next few days. PB has been working hard on perfecting them and making them into an easy to read format.

Rose Cook, Tommy and Al's mom, is home from the hospital and is getting better as the days go by.....drop her a card at Roseann Cook, 19404 Doehrman Rd., Woodburn, IN. 46797. I'm sure she will appreciate it.

Any questions, dont hesitate to e mail or call me. Hope to see all of you at the banquet.
