SUPERPRO SPRINGPORT INFO AND OTHER NEWS

Postby Bill Lackey on Tue Aug 26, 2008 11:13 am

Times for Springport this Saturday will be:

PIT GATE - 2 PM

HOT LAPS - 3:30 PM WE WILL GET 2 OR 3 SESSIONS

QUALIFYING - 6 PM

RACING BEGINS AT 7 PM

I still have general admission tickets available for $8.00 and they can be picked up at the ticket office the day of the race. Let me know how many you need and they will be set aside for u.

This is their season championships for their divisions so I dont believe they will be qualifying. The race will be 75 laps with yellows counting the first 40 laps. You have to qualify on the tires you race on - they will be marked before qualifying.

There is a new bulletin in the rules section pertaining to tachometers. All cars MUST have working tachometers before, during and after each event. Failure will result in disqualification from the race and forfeiture of purse money and points. If this has been an issue with your tach in the past, make sure its fixed.

The Plymouth weekend of September 20 and 21 will be two completly separate shows. Saturday will be a 50 lap feature and Sunday will be a 100 lapper. Payoff, times and other information will be coming soon.

I visited with PB yesterday (Monday) and he is doing well. He sends his best and wishes everyone good luck this weekend.

Any questions, give me a call at 517-474-7765.
