Help me understand, is there a difference between the cars used in these two series'?

If not, will Super Pro drivers attend their events in 2008. I am curious about car count at ORP.

Im not sure on their rules package yet, but the big difference is tire brand. Last year, they mirrored SUPERPRO rules and I hope they would continue down that road. We will announce our rules next week with no major changes. I am hopeful we can co-exsist and help each series grow.

Bill,

Did USPRO ever respond to your invitations to discuss scheduling?

Gunner

Maybe I can help....

Both Super Pro and USPRO Schedules don't have one single conflicting date so far. I know that both Bill (Super Pro) and the ASA Late Model Series (USPRO) are hard at work finalizing both schedules.

I'm not sure how many more dates Bill has planned, but we (USPRO) are looking at 1-2 more shows for the USPRO Cup Series in 2008.

The only dates that are even close to conflicting are the Saturday May 24 Super Pro show at Angola Motor Speedway-Angola, IN and the Sunday May 25 USPRO Cup Series race at Grundy County Speedway-Morris, Illinois.

Even with those two so close to each other in terms of the date, both tracks are off of I-80 and are only about 2 1/2-3 hours apart, so technically a team could hit both shows.

Plus they happen to fall on Memorial Day Weekend so no worries about getting home to go to work on Monday!

Hope this helps

Hi Matt,

Thanks for the good info, and yeah, maybe you can help. Did USPRO respond to Bill's invitations?
