Bill, I was just wondering if magnesium is acceptable for bell housing and transmission case?

Thanks, Keith

Keith-

In the SUPERPRO rule book, under "Transmissions and Drive Train", it states; "NO TITANIUM OR MAGNESIUM PARTS OF ANY KIND WILL BE ALLOWED."
The new rules will be out within the next couple of weeks, but this rule more than likely will remain. It was put in the rules originally as a cost savings to the teams, and should remain for that reason.

Hope this answers your question.

Paul, I thought I read that in the old rules but wasn't sure. I'm in the process of converting my outlaw car and already have mag bell and trans so just thout I would ask before I sold them and bought aluminum. Thanks for the reply.
